Training is about having fun with your dog and we are here to train you, so that you can continue exercises into your own home. Because training is fun, dogs should be praised with rewards such as treats or a toy as this encourages the dog to do exercises correctly more than punishment.

It is essential to have a collar and lead that is easy to hold. Flexi-leads are not advisable as you cannot hold the lead easily when trying to handle your dog. Harnesses are also not ideal as you have less control with the direction your dog is travelling.

Those who are interested in Conformation (Breed showing) can also attend our ringcraft sessions on Fridays.
